Raw "chocolate" sweets

Healthy raw chocolates made from dates, nuts and cocoa. An easy recipe rich in Omega-3 fatty acids, fibre and protein. A perfect sweet treat without added sugar!

Ingredients
  • 50 g pre-soaked dates
  • 40g porridge
  • 40g almonds (soaked)
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp flaxseed powder
  • 30 g oat bran
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
Method of preparation

Blend everything together and form the candy from the resulting mixture. Roll in extra cocoa and refrigerate for a few hours.

1. THE FLAX SEED is rich in Omega 3 fatty acids and fiber. They are a rich source of alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), a mostly plant-based omega-3 fatty acid. ALA is one of the two essential fatty acids that you must get from the food you eat, since your body does not produce them.
